CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

WEDDING/EVENT SERVICES INCLUDED:

  • Initial meeting (complimentary)
  • Up to 2 Site Visits (Day Planner)
  • Unlimited Email Communication
  • Unlimited Telephone Communication
  • Time Formatting & Vendor Control during allotted time
  • Planner to Initiate and remain in contact with All Vendors
  • My Wedding Workbook for Consolidation and easy Sharing
  • Finalized Timeline for Day Of & Distribution to All Vendors

 1-METHOD OF REMUNERATION: Payment may be made by Payment Center on www.alleneventplanners.com addressed to “Allen Event Planners Services.”  PROOF OF PAYMENT TO BE PROVIDED.

2-RESERVATION: Upon your signature, Allen Event Planners will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, the Reservation Retainer of $0.0 (includes Tax and Service Fee) is non-refundable, even if the date is changed or the wedding cancelled for any reason; including acts of God, fire, strike and/or extreme weather. The Reservation Retainer is to be paid at time of signing the contract. The Reservation Retainer is applied toward the contracted wedding service package. THE COUPLE understands and agrees that the entire amount owed for the wedding service package described in the contract 31 days before Retained Events date.

3-CANCELLATION: In the event that THE COUPLE cancels the contracted services for the wedding ceremony outlined in this contract before the wedding ceremony takes place, the Retainer & all remaining monies owed per contracted complete payment amount & will be forfeit as services rendered as the contracted date has been reserved strictly for THE COUPLE. If Couple Cancels within 31 days of Retainer date, all monies, in full, outlined in original Contract will be due. An addendum must be provided & signed by THE COUPLE.

4- VENDOR RELATIONS: In the event that a vendor booked through Allen Event Planners Packages offer does not fulfill obligation to sub contract, Allen Event Planners will be responsible to obtain alternate methods to provide another Vendor at the same Prevailing Package rate that is outlined in THE COUPLE’s agreed package amount. If THE COUPLE chooses another Vendor without notice, Allen Event Planners holds no liability and all monies for Retainers will be forfeited. Please advise all family & Friends of your professional Vendors to ensure no disruptions.

5-PRE-CEREMONY CONSULTATION: The parties agree to two consultations before the wedding date in order to finalize the Vendor listings & spot times for the ceremony. Appointments should be conducted and agreed upon no less than 72 hours notice to avoid conflict in scheduling future & existing.

6-EVENT GUIDE: THE COUPLE will be responsible for the people involved intimately in the wedding ceremony. Allen Event Planners accepts no liability if a person or persons involved do not show up or are otherwise unprepared for their part in the ceremony. Please advise all family & Friends of your professional Vendors to ensure no disruptions.

7-LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Planner, Allen Event Planners will make every effort to secure a replacement Planner able and/or willing to perform the wedding services as chosen in this contract at the same/similar charges. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the wedding service package.

8- LAWS OF ETHICS & MORALS: For any reason THE COUPLE feels that Allen Event Planners is not upholding contract Ethics, THE COUPLE must in writing, Relinquish obligation to any remaining Retainers owed for the remaining services due to be rendered with 31 days of Event. In the event that Allen Event Planners feels as if THE COUPLE is jeopardizing the professional & personal image of Allen Event Planners, Allen Event Planners will provide Contract Addendum sent Certified mail with all evidence of Ethical & Moral neglect & defamation to relinquish all further services & Retainer fees at Contract signing are non-refundable as stated as services rendered thus far.

9- ADD ON SERVICES: In the event that THE COUPLE adds additional services and hours not outlined in this contract, such charges will be added on at the current prevailing rate of $150 per hour. Payment & signature is due at time of extension.

10- SUB CONTRACTING: THE COUPLE is responsible for signing any Sub Contracted Vendor whether a Vendor through Allen Event Planners or Outside of Allen Event Planners. THE COUPLE is responsible for Obtaining and forwarding all Sub Contracts to Allen Event Planners for filing. All retainers & final payments for Sub Contracts are to be paid directly to Sub Contractor. Allen Event Planners will not be liable for Sub Contracted Vendors outside of Allen Event Planners Vendor Packages.

Final Payments not made 31 days prior to Event as determined in this contract will be subject to a $75 late payment fee and Late Payment fee along with remaining balance is due no later than 7 business days prior to Event.

 *******Additional Expenses: the couple is responsible for all out-of-state travel, accommodation, meal and transport costs for Allen Event Planners.********

 Officiant Services 

WEDDING OFFICIANT SERVICES INCLUDED:

  • Initial meeting (complimentary)
  • Selected Officiant Package
  • Professionally Attired Officiant for up to 1 ½ Hours
  • Unlimited email communication
  • Unlimited Telephone communication
  • All paperwork required by the State and County

5- 30 MINUTE WINDOW: THE COUPLE agree to set aside at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the wedding ceremony and a 15 minute time frame afterward for the delivery of and filling out of necessary paperwork. If either the bride’s or groom’s late arrival (or any other reason outside of the minister’s control) prevents this 30 minute window from occurring, Allen Event Planners shall not be held liable for failure to complete paperwork or ceremony in a timely fashion.

Allen Event Planners will make every effort to secure a replacement minister able and/or willing to perform the wedding services as chosen in this contract at the same/similar charges. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the wedding service package.
